The name for this blog comes from a Jack Kerouac quote from one of Sarah’s favorite books, “On the Road”:

“The only people for me are the mad ones, the ones who are mad to live, mad to talk, mad to be saved, desirous of everything at the same time, the ones who never yawn or say a commonplace thing, but burn, burn, burn, like fabulous yellow roman candles exploding like spiders across the stars and in the middle you see the blue centerlight pop and everybody goes “Awww!”

About us:

Sarah has the same birthday as John Lennon, and has just entered her twenties and thinks it’s going to be an amazinPhoto110-1g decade of her life. She enjoys pretty things, books, songs about traveling, England, photography, rain boots, Harry Potter, new Who, Buffy and Veronica Mars, and is always looking for something new to read (hit her up with book suggestions!)   1. Hello! I looked up “On the Road Again”, ’cause I like the quote above. (don’t agree with it, though.
